David Ward welcomes Usher Street Merger

Usher Street SchoolCouncillor David Ward has welcomed the plan to save Usher Street School by merging to with Bowling Park Primary School to turn it into a two site, three form entry school.

He said,

" I am delighted for the parents and the children as it means pupils at Usher Street will be able to stay together. I think it shows what can be done when the education authority is allowed to come up with creative solutions without the interference of he Government."
