Big schools ' risk losing the personal touch'

Cllr David Ward has expressed concern that big schools risk losing the personal touch.

Responding to information which showed that seven of the districts secondary schools have more than 1,500 pupils, he said

" They say it is a question of good management but I think they are becoming too large and are at risk of losing the personal touch. There is a danger that some pupils will fall by the wayside."
