Councillor's concerns about Remembrance Day parade when City Park is built.

Cllr Howard Middleton wants to make sure that the parade will be able to continue once the City Park is finished.

Cllr Howard Middleton has contacted the council to express his concern about how the Annual Remembrance Sunday parade will work when the City Park is finished.

He said' " This presently starts from Centenary Square, parades to the Bradford Cenotaph by the Media Museum, then returns to Centenary Square. There needs to be sufficient space in Centenary Square and surrounding area to do this. I have asked whether anyone connected with the City Park is going to attend on Sunday 8 November, to observe the mechanics of how the parade proceeds on its outward and return journey, so they know how much space would be needed once the City Park Project is underway

" I am pleased to say that the project director will now be present at the ceremony. This should ensure that in future years, the Remembrance Day parade can continue to take place."
