A failure by Transco to disconnect the supply from two derelict properties is holding up demolition and leading to fly tipping.

Councillor David Ward has written to complain that money was allocated for the demolition in July but the gas will not be disconnected until January.

He said,

" It has taken an inordinate length of time to get someone to disconnect the supply and in the mean time, fly-tipping has taken place. Not only is it hazardous but it is an eyesore on one of the main routes into the city. How can we project a positive image of Bradford if the main road looks like a tip?"
