Immediate Action Needed on Killinghall Road

12.05.31pm UTC (GMT +0000) Fri 26th Aug 2005

Pleas from concerned residents on Bradford Moor have lead Councillor Jamal to assess traffic problems on Killinghall Road.

The weekend saw the distribution of a survey for local citizens after anxiety was raised over fears for public safety.

The letterbox survey covers many issues including the introduction of speed cameras, air pollution, street lighting and parking problems.

To ensure that residents' views are heard they are urged to fill out the survey and return it as instructed to Councillor Jamal.

Councillor Jamal said,

"Local residents are very concerned about speeding and the levels of air pollution. I want to find out whether instances of asthma attacks are higher in this area.

When the results are in I want to use the information to put pressure on the Council to take action on speed cameras.
