Christmas Lights switch on In Eccleshill Village

The Christmas Lights switch on in Eccleshill village will take place on Saturday 3rd December from 3 pm.

It is being organised by the Urban Village Partnership and mince pies, mulled wine, tea and coffee will be served in local shops and the Eccleshill Mechanics Institute.

The lights will be switch on at 4 pm by the oldest resident and the youngest member of the youth club.

Cllr Carol Beardmore said:

" Everyone is welcome. Please come and join in and make it a special day for Eccleshill Village."
