“Very few people recycle plastics. We want to know if you would be interested in doorstep or more local facilities” says Maralyn

Local campaigner Maralyn Adey wants more people to be able to recycle plastic. She said,

" A huge amount of my rubbish is plastic but the Council won't collect plastic for recycling from people's homes. Unless you take it to a recycling centre, most of it ends up in a land fill site.

I want the Council to make it easier for people to recycle plastic and I want the Government to encourage companies to cut down on the amount of plastic packaging they use."
