Residents in Alma Grove are hoping that they will now get some peace and quiet from motor bikes roaring up their street and round the flats in Leeds Road as a result of action by their Lib Dem Councillor.

Councillor John Watmough said,

" After the residents approached me about the problem, I asked the Council to erect barriers to prevent the motor cycles roaring around Alma Grove and the flats in Leeds Road. Hopefully now, everyone will have a quieter life."
