David Ward welcomes Usher Street Merger

Councillor David Ward has welcomed the plan to save Usher Street School by merging to with Bowling Park Primary School to turn it into a two site, three form entry school.

He said,

" I am delighted for the parents and the children as it means pupils at Usher Street will be able to stay together. I think it shows what can be done when the education authority is allowed to come up with creative solutions without the interference of he Government."
