Cllr David Gray demands that safety work at an accident black spot starts now

Councillor David Gray is calling on the Council to begin work urgently on a major safety scheme in Bolton Road.

He said,

" 86 people have been injured on this section of road since April 2003;nine people have been seriously injured and two have died, including one quite recently. The money is there and the work should start immediately. "
