Will Council back Honour the Covenant Campaign?

Councillor Howard Middleton wants Bradford Council to support British Legion's the 'Honour the Covenant Campaign'.

Councillors Howard Middleton will be asking the Council to back the British Royal Legion Campaign to honour the covenant between the nation and its service personnel.

Cllr Middleton said,

" My motion to Council highlights the Legion's Campaign to get the nation and Parliament to honour its lifelong duty of care to service men and women. I want the Council to add its weight to the campaign for a just compensation scheme for injured personnel, a commitment to support the physical and mental health of service people and their families and better support for the better support for the bereaved."

The Council Meeting is on 11th December at 4 pm in Bradford City Hall
