Dubious loan leaflets circulating

Councillor Howard Middleton is warning people about leaflets which are being circulated offering loans.

He said,

" I have reported these leaflets to Trading Standards because I believe that they are misleading and taking advantage of people who are desperate for money especially at this time of year.

Trading Standards is warning against dealing with some of these companies and they are willing to give advice to people thinking about taking a loan.

If anyone has what they think is a dubious loan leaflet delivered to their home, I would be happy to send it on to Trading Standards on their behalf."
