Labour's Council Tax Bombshell
Bradford has suffered Labour for too long. People are desperate for the ‘change’ they promised at the General Election, change they cannot deliver.
The government has taken winter fuel payments from over 60,000 people in Bradford. They broke their promise of no new taxes with a hike in National Insurance that businesses cannot afford. Now they are hitting your pocket again with a 10% Council Tax increase in April.
Bradford’s Labour leaders have failed time and time again. Millions were wasted on vanity projects that have failed to deliver. Children have suffered as they ignored years of crisis in children's services and now the Council is bankrupt.
Still, Bradford’s Labour leaders remain, untouchable and unrepentant.
After years of failure, and no acceptance of responsibility the Labour Executive blames everyone but themselves for the Council's financial collapse. Now their Labour friends in Government are forcing you to pay the price.
It is shameless!
The Labour Government should investigate, audit, and demand resignations. Instead, it has backed its mates, given the green light to future failure and put the cost on local taxpayers. The 10% rise is nothing more than Labour’s Leaders getting away with it again.
This is simply disgraceful. Let’s get rid of this failed Labour Council for good. You can do three things to help.
